Hey Chip, I had a couple of those before. I put one in a zip lock bag with coffee grinds. It got rid of the smoke smell but replaced it with a coffee smell. Good trade. I have also seen others use Bounce dryer sheets in closed containers. Another guy used a sliced apple to absorb the odor. I think another way is to leave it out in the sunshine for awhile. Let us know what you end up doing and if it works. Remember, one stinker can stink up a whole collection. You have to isolate them. Good luck.
