Then I picked up this Spalding Whitey Ford PM without the TraPocket stamping. Hmm...

From the 1937 Rawlings catalogue. First year for "The Original Genuine Bill Doak" stamping and a good looking double pager.

Nice full page ad for the Pepper Martin DeLuxe PM model.

First appearance for the 8BD, 7BD and 6BD models.

I happened across this full page ad from 1957. At the bottom is a tiny ad for a Rawlings "Royal Label" Turtle Back catchers mitt. I'm familiar with the Lopata and Lollar models but not this one.

Below is an example of the Royal Label LMX Model. It's pretty nice, top of the line in its day.

Below is a photo of Yogi Berra with a Spalding version of this mitt.

An "Al Simmons" Ol' Reliable brand glove. Hudson, Ol' Reliable and Denkert all out of New York.

Here's an ad for a cool Reach mitt. As far as I know the "Jimmie Foxx" model 3BB has yet to surface. The unique wrist strap distinguishes the mitt.

Below is a Reach "Joe Judge" mitt with that patented wrist strap.

I would say twenties because of the two-bar mask the catcher is wearing. That type of mask appears in the 1922 catalog for the first time.
